The Singapore Chinese Garden is a magical place for photographers of all styles. The entrance is usually free unless an exhibit is hosted, and is delicately landscaped in the middle of the Jurong lake with pagodas and other buildings of Chinese influence and open spaces with trees. An ideal location for portrait, a particularly sought decor for pre-wedding photography, but also for nature lovers.
Many birds can be seen there and sometimes amazingly tamed, allowing photographers to spend time shooting the same bird at very close distance, of course as long as the photographer remains unthreatening. In addition to many resident birds, the garden is a well known stop for birds during the migratory season.
