Singapore Botanic Gardens

The Singapore Botanic Gardens is a beautiful century old park in down town Singapore with a wide range of plants and in particular the flower of Singapore: the Orchid.

Similar to New York’s central park, the Singapore Botanic Gardens is used by joggers, people looking for relaxing time and various cultural events. It is also one of the loved spots of birds and macro photographers in Singapore.

At end of 2012, the park was applied to be listed in the World Heritage list of UNESCO.
